BRIEF:
Raise awareness of Barbados as a travel destination for short and long stays
SOLUTION:
In 2020 Brits had just be ordered to work from home so we thought it might not be so bad if ‘home’ was a paradise beach. And so, working directly with the Barbados ministry for tourism, the ‘Welcome Stamp’ was born, a bureaucracy-free and tax-free visa allowing people to work from Barbados for 12 months.
RESULTS:
Striking a nerve, it featured online, in print and on broadcast over one hundred times over the course of six months resulting in over 2000 applications. Notably it starred in feature presentations on the BBC, ITV and Sky News and Ladbible including interviews with Welcome Stamp ‘citizens’ in situ in Barbados.
